Reflecting a Triangle Over a Line
Instructions:- Type in the three point of a triangle that you want to reflect over a line in the boxes next to "Point A," Point B," and "Point C."
- Type in the equation of the line in the box labeled "Equation of the mirror line." For example, type in "y=3x+2" or even "x+y=7"
- Done. It will show you the mirror image of that triangle over the line.
- Adjustments if the triangles do not fit on the screen:
- Zoom - You can right click on the image at any point and select a number less than 100% to zoom out. For example, choose 80% or 66% to zoom out.
- Move the graph - If you select the tool in the top tool bar that is all the way to the right (it looks like an x-axis and y-axis), you can move the graph so that you can see your triangles
